ENTERTAINMENT

For this week's theme, which is Entertainment, we would like to write about movies. More precisely, we are going to tell you (readers) about a few movies that we all thought the moral of the story could be applied in our life. After having a discussion with my friends, all of us have decided that these two movies would be great to share with our readers.

The Greatest Showman | 20th Century Studios Family

The  first movie that we would to share was The Greatest Showman. This movie was premiered in 2017 and was directed by Michael Gracey. The main actors for this movie are Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, and Zendaya. The Greatest Showman taught us to not be greedy in our life. Yet, they taught us to be grateful for everything that we have in our life. Other than that, this movie also taught us that we should not listen to any negative talk around us. We need to always be positive in our life and ignore all negative things around us. Lastly, from what we observed, the songs in this movie gave a big impact to us. It is because, the songs are about not giving up in life and most of the songs are really good.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil - Wikipedia

The second movie that we would to share with our readers is Maleficent. This movie was starred by the famous Angelina Jolie and it was premiered in 2014. This movie was directed by Robert Stromberg. From this movie, it taught us that how many times in life are we privy to a friend, colleague or even family member’s true selves and we refuse to acknowledge or believe what we see. The personality test developed by Myer’s Briggs suggest that when we are in crisis, stress on in danger that we shift to another personality style. I believe that in stress and crises we become our authentic selves. Next, it is vitally important to acknowledge our feelings and address them to avoid the opportunity for the emotion to fester, grow and change us. Trust is easily gained but once lost almost impossible to restore. This movie also taught us about how we put all of our energy, efforts, and resources into nurturing that one source only to find out, it’s not true love. The lesson for all of us it to be open that true love may not present itself in any specific form. If we are open, lovely discoveries await us.

That is it for this week's post. I hope all of you enjoyed this writing. Please stay tune for the next post!
